Privacy Policy
What personal information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Effective September 21, 2026
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy describes how MedRoute Logistics LLC collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, request a quote, create an account, or use our delivery services.
Information we collect
- Contact and account details — name, organization, job title, email address, phone number, billing address, and login credentials.
- Delivery details — pickup and delivery addresses, recipient names and signatures, package descriptions, package counts, service level, and the date and time of each stop.
- Limited health-related information — where a delivery involves a prescription, specimen, medical device, or supply, we may see a limited amount of information about it. We handle that information under the safeguards described in our HIPAA & PHI page.
- Payment and billing information — billing contact, invoices, and payment records. Card payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store full card numbers.
- Device and usage information — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar technical data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
- Communications — records of calls, emails, texts, and form submissions.
How we use information
- To quote, schedule, dispatch, and complete deliveries.
- To provide live tracking and proof of delivery to the parties entitled to see it.
- To bill for services and manage accounts.
- To communicate with you about a job, an account, or a request you made.
- To operate, secure, and improve the website and our services.
- To meet legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.
How we share information
We share personal information with the couriers and dispatch staff who perform a job, with service providers who support our operations (hosting, payment processing, email and text delivery, and IT support), with your organization where you are an end user of its account, and with authorities where the law requires it.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data security
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, consistent with the New York State Stop Hacking and Improve Electronic Data security (SHIELD) Act and other applicable law. These include access controls, encryption in transit, restricted internal access, and vendor review.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach involving your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
How long we keep information
We keep records for as long as needed to provide services, satisfy our billing and tax obligations, handle claims and disputes, and meet legal and insurance requirements. When records are no longer needed, we delete or de-identify them.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — see our Do Not Sell or Share page for details.
To make a request, email hello@gomedroute.com. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
Children's privacy
Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
