Terms of Service
The rules that apply when you use our website or hire us to move something for you.
Effective September 21, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of the MedRoute website and the delivery services we provide. By requesting a quote, scheduling a pickup, or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a pharmacy, clinic, laboratory, or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind that organization.
If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the site or the services.
What we do
MedRoute Logistics LLC ("MedRoute", "we", "us") provides local courier and medical delivery services within the Greater Binghamton area. We transport items at your direction between the locations you specify.
We are a transportation provider. We are not a pharmacy, laboratory, clinic, or health care provider, and we do not practice medicine, dispense prescriptions, or interpret any specimen, record, or result we carry.
Quotes, estimates, and pricing
Prices shown on the site or given over the phone are estimates based on the information you provide, including distance, service level, package size and weight, and handling requirements. A final charge may differ if the actual job differs from what was described — for example a heavier package, an additional stop, waiting time at either end, a return trip, or a change in service level.
Contracted rates, where we have agreed them with your organization in writing, control over any estimate shown on the site. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, invoices are due under the billing terms stated on the invoice, and past-due amounts may pause service.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate pickup and delivery addresses, contact names and phone numbers, package counts and descriptions, and any handling requirements, including temperature range, signature requirements, and chain-of-custody instructions.
You agree to package and label items properly for transport, to comply with all laws that apply to the items you ask us to carry, and to have lawful authority to send them. You may not ask us to carry anything illegal, anything we are not licensed or equipped to carry, or anything hazardous beyond what we have agreed in writing to accept.
Scheduling, cancellation, and access
Pickup and delivery windows are good-faith estimates. Traffic, weather, facility access, recipient availability, and events outside our control can affect timing. We are not responsible for a missed deadline caused by a delay you did not tell us about or by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a location is closed, inaccessible, or nobody can accept the delivery, we may treat the job as a failed attempt. Waiting time, a return trip, or a re-delivery may be charged.
Claims and liability
Please tell us about any loss, damage, delay, or delivery dispute promptly, and in any event within 7 days of the delivery or attempted delivery. Late notice makes an investigation difficult and may limit what we can do.
Our liability for loss or damage to a shipment is limited to the lesser of the shipment's actual documented value or the amount recoverable under our applicable insurance coverage. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses — including lost profit, lost business, or rescheduling costs — even if we were told they were possible.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including New York law.
Insurance and authority
New York–based medical courier.
We can provide a certificate of insurance on request before you begin service with us.
Ending service
You may stop using the services at any time. We may decline or stop providing service, including suspending an account for non-payment or for a request we cannot lawfully or safely carry out.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in New York, and both parties consent to those courts.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not waive any right you have under New York law that cannot be waived by agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page is the version in effect. Continued use of the site or services after an update means you accept the updated terms.
